TRUISTA DECAF RICH AWAKENING ACRYLAMIDE FREE* COFFEE

v1.0

$29.95

Chemical Free Decaf

Our decaf method uses a pure water process, thereby eliminating all chemicals that are commonly used in decaf processing.

Decaf Rich Awakening is exceptional as black coffee, but it truly comes alive with cream. Like Grenache in the world of wine, it’s approachable yet nuanced, soft in its elegance, deep in its complexity. The cup opens with smooth milk chocolate and finishes with a warm note of brown spice, reminiscent of gently lingering allspice. Adding cream extends the spice’s resonance, creating a luxurious, layered experience that unfolds with every sip.

The Mountain Water Process is used for decaffeination, resulting in a coffee that retains a tremendous amount of its original character, offering clarity, comfort, and complexity without compromise.

Decaf Process: 97%-99%

Much like fine wine, the flavors mentioned for each coffee are nuances that come naturally within the roasted bean itself. Truista coffees don’t have any added flavors.

RING OF FIRE COFFEES: GUATEMALA AND NICARAGUA

Body-driven coffees are rich, smooth, and indulgently textured, often showcasing chocolate, roasted nuts, and subtle spice. These comforting profiles lean toward low acidity and a velvety mouthfeel, offering a grounded, full-bodied experience that envelops the palate.

The coffees of Guatemala and Mexico carry a warm depth of chocolate, brown spice, and caramelized sugar, a robust profile that endures the rigorous and precise Mountain Water decaffeination process. These beans withstand the intensity of the process, emerging with more of their structure, depth, and flavor integrity intact.

Mountain Water Decaffeination Process

These beans are decaffeinated through the Mountain Water Process (MWP), a natural, chemical-free method akin to the Swiss Water Process. Using activated charcoal filters, the MWP gently removes caffeine while preserving the beans' intrinsic flavor compounds. What sets it apart is the use of pure glacial water from Pico de Orizaba, Mexico’s highest peak, a pristine source that honors terroir and elevates integrity. The result is a decaffeinated coffee that retains a tremendous amount of its original character, offering clarity, comfort, and complexity without compromise.

BREW GUIDE

FAVORITE BREWER FOR THIS COFFEE:
CHEMEX OR FRENCH PRESS

AS ESPRESSO: This coffee plays well as espresso, especially in milk-based drinks. The brown spice notes emerge with clarity, adding warmth and complexity, while a pleasant chocolate character lingers on the backend. Its structure holds up well in lattes and cappuccinos, offering a balanced, flavorful experience that’s both comforting and refined.

AS COLD BREW: Simple and smooth, with a clear, singular chocolate note at the forefront. While the warmth of roasted nuts present in the hot brew fades, the chocolate character remains steady and satisfying. Other nuances soften in the cold extraction, leaving a streamlined, mellow impression.

BEYOND THE CUP:
Straight shots of Espresso or Cold-Brewed Unbuzzed Decaf

Works well in cocktails and dessert recipes. Unbuzzed’s savory structure and chocolate-toned depth make it ideal for reductions, drizzles, and bases that elevate indulgent creations, from flourless cakes to spiced ganache.

BEAN BASICS FOR DECAF RICH AWAKENING

Decaf Rich Awakening is crafted with intention.
To enjoy it at its best, keep these tips in mind:

DEGASSING (RELEASE OF CO2): Wait at least 5 days after roast date before brewing. The roasted almond notes pop after day 3, and by day 5, the cup comes fully into balance. This rest lets CO2 escape, refining the body.

STORAGE: Air and light ruin freshness. Use a vacuum-sealed container or tightly roll the bag. Store in a cool, dark place.

REFRIGERATOR: Not Recommended. Beans absorb odors and moisture, dulling flavor.

FREEZER: Not recommended. Freezers can separate oils in body-heavy coffees, thinning the mouthfeel.

I still stand on my opinion that Truista is the best coffee out there! The decaf is so good. I drink coffee for the taste, not the caffeine. This is the healthiest coffee too, another reason why I buy only Truista.

Thank you so much, Debra! We really wanted a clean, delicious decaf. It is, unfortunately, quite hard to find those, especially clean ones! We are so happy that you enjoy it, and we can't wait to keep finding ourselves in your morning brew!

I have to admit, I was bracing for disappointment but wanted to give this clean coffee a try. I was worried that this was just an over marketed product that didn’t live up to the hype. I was wrong! Truista has a fantastic product and I’m now a loyal customer.

While I love coffee, my body doesn’t love the caffeine anymore. After trying tea and a handful of decafs over the years, I’d given up on ever enjoying coffee again. Thank you Truista for making a wonderfully flavorful and quality decaf coffee.

This makes us so happy! We really try to push our product out there without being obnoxious, haha! We really do believe in our coffee, and think it's delicious. We are so glad you think so too. Getting the decaf just right was absolutely essentail to us! Thank you for your kind review, Nathan!

This is not only the best tasting decaf I've ever had, and I've tried all the most premium brands, but it's also the cleanest and the only thing that my spouse can drink without getting sick. This product is nothing short of life-changing and it compromises nothing on flavor. It actually exceeds any other coffee I've ever tried. Bravo I'm a customer for life

Thank you so much, Julia! This review means the world to us, and we are so happy that we can help you guys out. We are more than honored to serve you guys our coffee! Have a wonderful rest of your week, Julia!
