MOCCAMASTER KB COFFEE MAKER
The KB Brewer features a manual-adjust brew basket stop that lets you control the coffee flow rate or stop it completely while brewing into the carafe. This versatile coffee maker is ideal for coffee enthusiasts who prefer a more hands-on brewing experience and may not brew a full carafe every day.
All KB glass carafe brewers include a hot plate with an independent heating element designed to keep your freshly brewed coffee at the optimal serving temperature without compromising flavor. Enjoy greater brewing flexibility, precise control, and consistently delicious coffee with every pot.
Includes 5-year warranty.
- Fast brewing time – Brews a full carafe of coffee in just 4–6 minutes with a simple, quiet brewing process.
- Consistent brewing temperature – The copper boiling element quickly heats water to the optimal brewing range of 196°F–205°F and automatically shuts off when the water reservoir is empty.
- Precision engineering – The boiling action moves water through the glass tube and outlet arm, pulsing over the coffee grounds to create a manual pour-over style brewing experience.
- Optimized coffee extraction – The cone-shaped brew basket evenly steeps the coffee grounds, maximizing flavor, aroma, and complexity in every cup.
- Independent hot plate – The adjustable Hi-Lo hot plate maintains coffee at an ideal serving temperature between 175°F and 185°F, with automatic shutoff after 100 minutes for added convenience and safety.

Frequently asked questions
We recommend a medium-coarse grind, similar in texture to coarse sand or sea salt. If you're having your coffee pre-ground, use these descriptors to help achieve the ideal grind size. Keep in mind that most pre-ground coffee is typically too fine for optimal brewing performance.
If it tastes good to drink, it will make great coffee. We recommend using fresh tap, filtered, or bottled water. Avoid reverse osmosis (RO) or distilled water, as both can damage the brewer's heating element over time.
Because RO and distilled water have had their minerals removed, they can become slightly acidic. This may cause the water to draw minerals from the copper heating element, which can eventually lead to permanent damage.
Over time, minerals naturally accumulate inside the brewer's heating element, creating scale buildup. This can slow water flow, affect brewing temperature and extraction, and eventually impact performance. Regular descaling removes these mineral deposits, helping maintain consistent brewing results and extending the life of your brewer.
We recommend descaling every 100 brew cycles or at least once every three months. A simple way to remember is to descale your brewer each time you finish a box of 100 filters.
